Pic was another Kitson-Meyer in Chile. These were mostly used in South America and India, where power was needed and curves were too tight for a Garratt.
They were an improvement on the Meyer locomotive design. Kitson moved the rear engine backwards and that allows for a larger firebox and more fuel and water to be carried.

That and their boilers didn't have a large enough evaporative capacity to run both the rack engine and the adhesive engines continuously.
