When America decided to remove electric tramcars and replace them with the automobile, I find it genuinely disturbing that no government body looked at the exhaust gasses of ICE's and required a long term toxicity study on increased motor vehicle use. It's genuinely baffling that such a large oversight was allowed to happen. Surely somebody saw and smelled the exhaust gasses of a motor vehicle and thought, I wonder how bad this will be when everyone has one of these? How was there no red flags? Are governments genuinely filled with retards? It's such an obvious thing to overlook. You literally have to be blind, deaf and suffer from Anosmia all at the same time to miss such a glaring problem.
