4) Be aware that planes do make mechanical noises, especially on take-off and approach. That's flaps, landing gear and other shit. Don't get scared by them
5) Be aware that commercial planes got an unholy level of toughness. Seriously.
6) Be aware that planes go through a tough maintenance regime every few flight hours

8) When in doubt look at the flight attendants. As long as they are doing their jobs or don't look nervous everything's a-okay
Take-off and landing are the worst parts for most people, including yours truly. Just man the fuck up and be aware that you wont die, like seriously. When you're going to fly long distances you will have lots of entertainment. Use it to distract yourself.
