Unless you're built like Anrold you're not getting most these nuts or whatever off. I'm not even fat and these things are impossible to take apart. Besides if I need a new tube anyways why not pay someone a bit extra to do it for me.

Because they're so cheap they're basically disposable. Bike shops will usually work on decent e-bikes from real brands but no one wants to touch off-brand chinesium fire-hazards.

It has a bunch of different things on it, so outside the normal screwdriver who keeps a full toolbox on hand. Most people living in a city don't need a huge toolbox with everything in it for their shitty ford pickup

OP, this is basically what you're asking. Bike shops don't generally turn away service dollars, but somebody coming in with this sort of bike is a worst case scenario. They turned you away for the same reason that pretty much every bicycle shop will also wisely refuse to work on bikes that have motor kits installed - if you work on them you have to accept a lot of liability to realize very little return for your time.
