I read a bush pilot working in western Alaska say that his job easily allowed him to travel all over the world. Is this true? I was under the impression that you’d only be able to do that if you were an airline pilot that gets free flights as part of your contract.
Anyways, what’s the job like, being a bush pilot? I’ve looked into it a bit, and it seems like you need to get some hours as an instructor in anchorage (or some other cold, mountainous place) for a while before you can land a proper job.
Also, post cool bush planes. Floaters are a plus.
