I bought a trashed mtb from 1996 with shimano stx group like picrel. I'd like to take complete wheels back and front including the cassette, front fork, maybe the rear derailleur and just trash the rest.
My questions
>I'll be putting everything onto a rockrider St 50: the cheapest mtb from decathlon. New and old mtbs have the same standard or wheels will not fit due todifferent hub width?
>transplantating the rear derailleur has any benefits or it's just a Pita for nothing?
>anything I should know about swapping a suspension for a rigid fork?
>a rear wheel with 7s is compatible with all other 7s or I'll need to index again?
