When I was flying out I got my ticket and attempted to go through security, only to be told I was at the wrong security gate and had to walk across the building to get to the "correct" security gate. It's retarded. I've been to airports where you can go through any security gate you want. I was flying out of one airport one time (I think Atlanta or Charlottesville), and I saw the the security gate line was way backed up. And there was a tv monitor that showed how busy various gates were, so I just walked down 100 meters, went through a security gate that was less busy, and then walked 100 meters back to my terminal.
Berlin just needs to demolish that shithole airport and let actual airport engineers design and built it, cut their losses.
