Fellow Yuropoors,
Where can I find 90s MTBs in Germany or even online in the EU? I want to rebuild a rigid steel frame mtb this spring but the well known places like eBay Kleinanzeigen are full of expensive commercial listings so the average Joe thinks it's okay to ask for 600€ for a completely unmaintained piece of shit when 100€ is much more realistic. I'm seriously thinking about just going to the nearest university and "stealing" one of the abandoned bikes that can be seen in the same place for years already.
Are there any kind of flea markets / thrift stores you can recommend? Are there any second hand bike shops or shops that sell abandoned/salvaged bikes or anything like that in this godforsaken country? Apparently in the states you can find a decent bike for $50 in a thrift store if one can believe bike restoration youtube channels.
