My city of 2 million in Poland is getting its 3rd and 4th airport. Billions wasted solely for political reasons.

sounds about right. My city of 1 million people in the USA has 4 airports. (1 commercial international airport, 1 old airport they still use for cargo and gulfstreams, 2 municipal airports for cessnas and whatnot- recently expanded to accomodate jets.

Also your country is preparing for war. It's prudent to build as many airfields as possible as the key to your defense of an eastern invasion is NATO air superiority.

In Poland changing your home address is a pain in the ass and not worth it if you come from the country and only rent a place in the capital. That could make it slightly bigger than 1 800 thousand.
