A few short years ago, the proposal seemed ridiculous, but now all these cities are ending parking requirements. What do you think the effect will be?
I assume American downtowns will get denser and more pedestrian-friendly. I don't think it'll change the 'burbs much, but some cities that were highly suburban and car-oriented (like San Jose) will change significantly.
Atlanta and Nashville could benefit most from ending parking requirements.
