Non New Yorker here. Would a completed and fully operational 2AS serve mostly just journeys on the east side of Manhattan, or would it become a major part of commutes from Brooklyn and Queens?

Also, why is the MTA so corrupt?

All proposals I have read about extending the T south into Brooklyn were by absolute autists like vanshnookenraggen. I have literally never seen official proposals so the only Brooklyn commuters that'd use the SAS are probably the ones coming off the 14th Street line
