Yes, it's "iconic". But holy shit that hump is so aesthetically unpleasant. I'm glad they're off production.

I think the A380 looks weird. Like a downie with their facial features out of proportion. It would look far better if the cockpit was on the upper deck.

I like the hump. Too many planes are just boring-ass tubes. The hump gives it a bit of actual shape.

They are both fugly (even the bulbous Il-86 looks 1000x better). Tubes are common for a reason and the is how a jet airliner should look: A tube with wings with engines either on the tail or under the wings. No ovals, no humps, no funny shaped noses (787, A350). Just plain, sense-making design.
