Hey a/n/ons, I'm looking for an electric scooter (so I can sneak my way onto sidewalks, as the drivers in my city will hit me, and there are almost no bike lanes).
Here's what I'm after:
>10+ miles on one charge
>can hold 260+lbs, as I'm 250 and I'll likely have my bookbag with me
>at least 12-15mph
>can handle some hills
>ideally no more than $600 unless it hits all the expectations
I'm fine with it being a no-name brand, I am not interested in it being a conversation piece nor am I interested in it as a hobby (although I am fine learning to do maintenance/repairs/upgrades). I just want a faster way around than walking.

I'm looking at the Hover-1 Renegade since I can pay for it over time and it seems to hit all my checkboxes. Is there a better option or a cheaper option that's roughly equivalent?
