I was thinking the other day about The Highway Trust Fund, FRA and other things that are helping to fund Light Rail, innercity trains, and potentially even suburban Trams. While we are making great strides in the NEC, building high speed trains that connect from Airports to popular tourist destinations in Florida, and also a huge bullet train from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and California and New York getting some huge funding. I keep wondering if there is something we can do at the state level of the places we live in to expedite this process and to make it go much quicker. Much like raising taxes 3-10cents on sales taxes overall specifically for Mass Transit Funding. What does everyone else think?
