>>1909275>I've installed the 45mm 2 weeks ago, they are the single most difficult tires I've ever had my hands on. They are so tight I've had to install them tubeless because adding a tube into the equation seems impossible. They do ride beautifully, no the best grip, but the comfort is real.man FUCK these meme tires lol
I got 2 pairs of them, plus a pair of veloflex for $100 total the other day off a rich fred. Unused but sitting for a while.
Fitting is practically impossible. I had to use straps to even get ONE bead on. They aren't in the shape of tires and they're constantly trying to snap back to being flat and fall of the rim. What you've leveraged on never stays on and the bead/well trick does nothing because of this. The only way I could get the second bead ended up pinning the tube at every point and I had to keep pulling it out. A tube is absolutely tortured by this process and the morning after fitting of course it was flat.
Doing it on the side of the road would be impossible. And i'm guessing they flat often.
The worst tires i've fitted before this were the Vittoria open tubular pave green ones, those were tighter, but atleast those were in the shape of fucking tires.
these ones aren't even supposed to be tubeless what the actual fuck is this company thinking? They're marketed towards underbiking on cobblestones and gravel but doing that and dealing with the inevitable flats would be a circle of hell.
