Toronto to Quebec
Montreal to New York
Texas triangle, add a stop at college station
MAYBE New York to Chicago if its at Shanghai maglev speed and only then would a link west of Toronto make sense, and ONLY south of Lake Erie because Detroit is a third world

My favorite thing about Alon Levy is that his work is widely known and discussed outside of academia. His blog is popular and his landmark report on transit costs was all over the internet and continues to be cited.

My favorite thing about cagetrolls is that they always shoot themselves in the foot because they don't know anything about transportation.

In it, he described his experience consulting with elected officials around America on transit projects. He and his research partner Eric Goldwyn do a lot of work for different American cities.
