Are non-Brompton bikes worth it? Moving to a flat on the 3rd floor with no lift, and haven't got space for 2 bikes really. Looking to maybe replace my run around bike with a folder.

check out the tern eclipse x22, the wheels are a bit bigger than your average folder so it rides nice, the spec is modern, it doesn't have all that leather and canvas cringe aesthetic that retarded anglophiles worship

not as ideal for travel as some alternatives but if you're just looking to save space in an apartment it's probably a good compromise

Get a lightish bike and it'll be no more effort taking a non-folding up the stairs than it would to take a folding. Shoulder through the frame and you're sound.
