Electric locomotives are a different beast, the framepacing makes the battery white noise fucking unbearable. For steam, I cannot comment, I don't own content for that but judging by reviews it's not good. So far I have 3.9 hours in the game, 90% of that on cajon pass. If you check the steam reivews a lot of DLCs have problems with random derailments and subpar QA. Also apparently DTG did not fulfill "promises" between releases of TSW2 and 3, I can only parrot the general consensus on that.
If I were not living in a third world country I'd rather be playing Run8 since my main interest is american freight, next to hungarian locos but for that I am limited to OpenRails. DTG should get some pressure over fixing their games anyway.
