I actually liked the initial idea of the Boring Company a lot - making tunnel digging dirt cheap so that basically every city can have its own underground highway or subway system. Now that it's apparent that they're never gonna reach that original goal what makes digging tunnels still so hard and goddamn expensive? Why can't we have nice things?
