The banana peel break couldn't have happened because the keel wasn't made to bend so what was happening here?
If a top-down break occurred then you'd need to have the keel bend, which was made rigid, and brittle. Not made to bend.
Same thing also goes with James Cameron's 2012 simulation. No debris towers, and no top canting.
