Honestly, at this point it'd be a miracle if BART is still around at all in 10 years or so. SF is finished, buying and selling hard drugs is basically the only reason to go there now, and without SF commuters BART's only purpose is as a rolling homeless shelter

I tried the central subway for the first time recently- what an absolutely worthless piece of shit, and a monstrous waste of federal funds just to placate that chink bitch rose pak. This is part of a greater project I'm working on for Chicago but this may be the crown jewel of the entire concept: the 6 Corners Transit Center

It's planned in accordance to an eventual extension of the Brown Line to connect to the Blue Line as well as the conceptual Mid-City Transitway that runs along a disused rail ROW a block away and parallel to Cicero.

Pic related, and colors for explanation:

mid-city transitway (interlines with yellow to lincolnwood, then south to 6CTC, then south down aforementioned abandoned ROW to Midway, connecting with green/blue along the way
>light blue
rerouted blue line into a tunnel below Kostner to a new Montrose station at proposed 6CTC
>lighter yellow
UP-NW Metra, station would be moved from Jefferson Park to 6CTC and wouldn't require any rerouting, rather a platform transfer directly above the proposed L platform
>orange
MD-N Metra, existing station at Mayfair would need to be moved literally one block north to connect
>red
The only property that needs to be acquired to make this work: an abandoned office/warehouse space that sits between all FIVE rights-of-way

Essentially, this would serve as a northwestern hub of CTA and metra transportation, similar to a Jamaica Station in NYC for comparison.

I have about 10 more diagrams of possible capital projects the RTA could engage in to massively boost ridership, if anyone is interested I will share

It's a work in progress, I plan to have the red line continue into willoughby-eastlake terminating near either the captain's stadium, downtown willoughby or osborne. I want additional branches of the rapid transit lines to reach into pepper pike, university heights and mayfield heights. To make the existing rapid line extend into Beachwood and Warrensville heights. A new branch of the red line that goes into Parma and maybe Independence.
And finally maybe have the orange line go further west and further east terminating in Ashtabula and Sandusky respectively.

The red line and turquoise ones already exist as depicted, the former is a subway and the later light rail, there are currently plans to possibly extend the subway into Euclid sometime in the next few years and may or may not be plans to possibly extend it even further down the line into Lake county.

The orange line also currently exists as depicted but is strictly freight rail at the moment, I envision some kind of shared rail system like what they have in Tokyo where the city can use the freight rails for public transport and switching tracks/ pulling off to the side into stations to allow freight trains to pass.

i had a very strange experience back in june where i actually paid fare to leave and took a few seconds delay to walk through the gate, cops outside stopped me and claimed they didnt see me pay fare, they checked my card and it said i hadnt used it at all that day, and it updated a few hours later. luckily they had let me off with a warning, but i was beside myself asking how the hell they could claim i fare evaded when i literally just used it

South end of the Green Line is fine but the north side confuses me. The existing end of the Green Line is in Greenbelt, not Montgomery County. I like the Purple Line connections though, connecting Largo with Tysons. Same for King Street to National Harbor, which seems logical considering the development projects going on both sides of the Potomac there.

Cool stuff, the only complaint I have is that the circle line does not connect between Tuscolana and Roma Termini, without this is not really a circle then.
Also Roma Termini is such an important stop to not have it connected desu. Imagine having to take the M6 for a few hundreds metres to get to the major train station.
