>>1930325>i hate seeing young people with functioning legs use car and truck things, motorcycles and all those other things rather than walking or using a regular foot powered car.>it's good if handicapped people use them but why do people again with good working legs waste so much money on them? You're basically asking why everyone who owns a car does not have one like Fred Flintstone.
A bike is first and foremost a form of transportation to get a person from A to B. Its user is going to want that to happen in the most efficient way. Would you want a car you propelled with your feet like the Flintstones or would you prefer one that can do the work for you?
An electric motorized bicycle or similar provides a user with a very fast, cheap and easy way to get around. If they had to do that using their own body then they have to burn all sorts of energy and hydration which has to get replenished by buying/cooking food then eating and drinking enough to replenish what their body used to pedal them around. You are also limited by how fit you are.
Pedaling is fine and I think e-bikes are pretty gay and for trannies, but most people aren't looking to grow tree trunk sized legs and massive lungs in order to get around (though it is better to do this and be healthy anyway). For those who want to enjoy the challenge that pedal bikes offer, then they have that option. But the average person just knows they can buy a cheap e-bike or something, save money on gas and still get around where they need in a timely manner.
