I'm at a regionally famous custom motorcycle shop that has a bunch of new and pull off handlebars. They are all $25. some new some old. Pulloffs and new stock.

Is there any impediments from using a pair of handlebars from a motorcycle on a bike?

Some have an oval shaped hole on the bottom so I assume these may be an issue strength wise?

off the top of my head the only issue I can see is it's unlikely that the clamp diameter on a bike stem is the same. should be easily searchable.
also I'm pretty sure those are steel and most bike bars are alu so if you care about the weight

By just pick up feel they range from fuck heavy to light af.

Im going to ask them what size they are I bet they are a universal imperial size.

The shop guy said those are all harley pulliff bars and all harleys are a universal 1 inch diameter

Pulloff bars i mean. Im going to buy 3 for projects. Ill post results. Theres a northwoodsy one a narrower one and a bigger riser among others. No ape hangers too crazy tho

Most bars from metric bikes with be 7/8 in diameter
Harleys and bigger cruiser bikes will often be a 1 in diameter.

They will all be steel and are all sufficiently strong enough to not bend much in a low speed motorcycle accident. The only downside I can see is weight. They are often several pounds just on their own
