>>1933657Ignoring the fact that this is some gay anime art, most right leaning people would prefer that, actually. They tend to value traditional small town living where life is slower, you can take it easy and there is a sense of local community.
It's the left that wants to design cities that look like pic related, which have a safe injection site on every corner, bike lanes everywhere instead of roads even though that'd be the same thing and giant dense tower blocks that are actually worse for the environment due to the energy required to construct and maintain these sort of buildings. Oh, but it's walkable, right? Less cars is good, right? Well think about how much fucking energy it takes to maintain a dense city from all the air conditioning units (which you need now or you can literally die from heat). Or the environmental costs of producing concrete which is extremely high (and also results in massive environmental destruction due to how much aggregate is required...thus quarries and strip mines etc). Or the loss of green space and the resulting heat island effects. Or dealing with all that water run off because sidewalks and bike lanes sure as fuck aren't going to absorb rain and snowmelt. Or all the energy required to power these buildings, the infrastructure; the power required to truck and railroad in copious amounts of supplies because nobody can even grow a vegetable garden in the city. Or how about the inevitable income inequality that starts to exponentially grow in cities? You think most people living in a place like Toronto, New York City, Paris, London or Tokyo is a middle class person? Fuck no, most are either living in poverty or have millions of dollars.
It has nothing to do with right versus left wing and everything to do with voting in retarded corporate capitalists on both sides of the aisle.
