>bus is hot loud and gross, takes forevever to get anywhere

>fast forward to 23yo, take the skytrain (elevated rail) to trade school
>holy shit this is awesome, kinda loud but so fast and i can read
>ok skytrain is cool but you still need a car most of the time
>ffw to 24yo, new job drive all over the lower mainland
>long for skytrain but know its impossible
>3 week assignment downtown, realize i can take the west coast express (intercity train) for the first time
>day one platform is park level quiet and looks out onto natural creek
>train is SUPER quiet and full of professionals, no walmartians in sight
>landscape is fucking beautiful
>i reach downtown in 30min, stressful driving would've added an hour to that
>my fucking face i never want to drive to work again
please somebody I've seen the not just bikes light. If only i knew how nice things really are. please help me
