>>1946623Man I love those Manitou forks. I sold an Answer/ONE which needed rebuilding and i kinda regret it. That's a sweet bike.
I suggest a folding Maxxis DTH or Schwalbe Billy Bonkers.
They're both good allrounders. The former can be hard to find as it's discontinued and the latter has hideous logos.
The retro larp smoke/dart or fire xc pro would look coolest but i dislike how they ride, they throw mud, and they're sluggish. They would suit a more gnarly but still vintage bike that doesn't really make sense any longer.
A fast XC tire like Conti Raceking would be good, shop on weight, folding bead, and minimal tread.
As would a lightweight meme tire like Schwalbe Kojak or Rene Herse would be awesome.
Also I suggest you service the hubs, get kool stop eagle II pads (or thinline), pinned flat pedals, riser bars, new grips, an all metal bottle cage, and work on wider gearing, with a slightly wider cassette and slightly smaller granny ring.
