I have a gas thirsty older sports car and if it wasn’t exorbitant and difficult I’d be happy to electrify it, even if I could only get a fairly short range out of it. Seems like the steam went out of the fledgling industry we had for that when practical EVs were released.
Still, there is that ford crate Mach-E engine that you can get for under 5K, and the specs are prettt decent, but you have to get a battery and everything else yourself somehow.
