I live in a "walkable city" and pickup truck drivers are some of the more respectful cagers around, at least as far as when I'm on my bike
If I had to rate from best to worst:
best: all ultra-oversize SUVs, medallion cabs, non-express buses, most pickup trucks except around yankee stadium where they're all driven by out of state chuds, marked sole proprietorship small business vehicles, marked driving school vehicles, dilapidated rape vans with the muffler dragging underneath, ferraris
mixed bag but mostly ok: marked big business vehicles (USPS, amazon, fresh direct), T license plates except camrys and nissans, city garbage trucks, most higher end sports cars (current KBB value in the six figures) except italian
use extreme caution: marked small business vehicles driven by employees/contractors, rental trucks including pickups, camrys, BMWs, Mercedeses, small/crossover SUVs, off duty NYPD/FDNY, private garbage trucks, drivers under 25, all italian cars except ferrari, pickup truck drivers near yankee stadium, muscle cars in general
will drop everything it's doing to try and kill you on sight: all econo shitboxes (like a 15+ year old civic), all nissans, diplomatic plates, dump trucks/wreckers/junk luggers, access-a-ride vans, moving vans, fake paper license plates
