why is that women never notice you coming when you pass them on your bike? a lack of spatial awareness? are they mentally incapable of filtering out nearby noise and impressions from those afar? or is it a conscious decision to block everything out? are they too self-absorbed and dependent on others to sense any threat?

whenever i pass a couple on my bike the boyfriend ALWAYS has to lead his chick out of the way like she's an invalid. the dude almost always notices you coming, women never do. why is it so hard for them to turn their head and acknowledge their surroundings?
