Car Centrism and Car Infrastructure makes people atomized and not able to know their neighbors or to even have a sense of community. Right wingers especially extreme conservatives complain about the lack of unity and being spread out but they have no clue it's the infrastructure and their overlords making them this way. Nobody is even saying a town needs to be a big city or a skyscraper, but to at least have duplex's or triplexes that are 2-3 stories and to have a smaller community would work out way easier than having a spread out area of ruralville where everyone just lives alone.
