what's the point of skis during winter as a means of transport? i can ski reasonably fast on a road that has had the snow pushed off or driven over. or alternatively a path has been made by before with my skis but overall i dont feel it is that much better than a bike in most cases and without a pre existing track you might as well walk
the only reason i do it is because it is fun and i love every second of flying through roads in the woods.
