>>1946304unless the entire system isnt perfectly adjusted which mine never is because my bike actually gets used
>>1946337i hate when people say skill issue but unironically it is
idk how you have these problems for me its just muscle memory to put it in the gear i want instantly
it only took me one ride lol
>It doesn't take a genius to figure out which one is superior in every single wayyeah the one that always works and doesnt require constant adjustment and bullshit and cleaning to keep it working aaand is compatible with literally anything
plus i can shift from any gear to any gear in one flick, ofc thats not unique to frictions there are indexed thumbies and twisties but this is the main reason i hate clicky button shifters i dont like having to spam a button a million times to get down to 1st gear
>>1946352yeah well not all of us are roadies
>>1946382they havnt though besides
>click button>it shifts>doesnt explain how why this is better than just doing the indexing myself>ignores the numerous disadvantages>>1946569no i meant getting the left and right shifters and swapping sides so theyre upside down
its nice cos you can then use only your thumb for the whole range of gears
i find having them the "correct" way up i have to use my thumb for one way and my index finger for the other
if you arent using a rapid rise then yeah your harder gear will be up on the shifter
your front derailleur will now be down though
one reason why i like my rapid rise derailleurs is having both shifters going the same direction
>>1946657its a bait thread lol
>>1946698but i can shift gears myself?
