My grandpa's got a year or two before he dies, and he always wanted to go on a train ride, like a trip with overnight cars, and maybe tours and crap? He wanted it to be across the US, but I don't think that's possible.

I'm not sure how feasible this is. I have about two grand and I live in the northeastern US.

If you can't spoonfeed me, can you point me on the right track?
