How much time do we have left until civil aviation for individuals goes widely mainstream (absolute hell)? I'm talking 1/2 person "flying cars", drones etc.

Joby Aviation is building an eVTOL factory and recently started doing manned flights with their aircraft. So I'm assuming not too long.

but those are all going to be autonomous (at least, that's the goal), so you just step in like into the taxi and it takes you to your destination while having no control. I guess OP meant when will everybody be a 'pilot' in one way or another and that will never happen IMO.
