Afaik with cheap hydros it's more bang for the buck to throw them away and buy entirely new ones than to service them. As well how much customization comes with hydros ? Can you easily tune everything about the pull on a whim? Repair them on the fly ? I once had a rock bounce and cut my cable. A lil solder and a dab torch, voila.
And anyway I'm just not racing. Yeah if I raced professionally I'd run a carbon frame with hydros and tubeless tires but I don't. Same reason I don't run racing slicks and oversized discs on my car. What I have and prefer works, and I do enjoy it. I don't need to spend money on shit I don't want or need.
