>>1962788alright, now this is both an honest and a stupid mistake on your CFIs part. Just to be clear, are the endorsements the only part of your logbook you have this issue with? The correct way, again, to fix it is to have the CFI either ̶s̶t̶r̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ the incorrect date (2023) and put 2022 next to it with his signature, or to ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶ ̶o̶u̶t̶ the whole endorsement and make an entire new endorsement that was correct for the date it was given. The previous endorsement must still be legible FOREVER after having been crossed out, no white out should ever obscure any of it.
Now to the other part of this, legally speaking, even if the intent of the endorsement & CFI was to solo you, you were flying with an illegal endorsement(s) and none of the flying time you had at that time is """legal""". If you've been """caught""" with the not legally obtained solo time, the CFI may and will be wary of backdating an endorsement. Obviously if this was caught by you/the CFI before anyone else, the CFI should've just fixed the fucked up endorsement(s) as if the fix happened the second the endorsement was signed. The school can't really help you.
I can tell you that my first three solos were not legally signed off, now that I know about endorsements, but I obviously don't care about some endorsement technicality. You either can forge a fix in your logbook (not possible if it's had white out), have the CFI correctly fix the endorsements (sounds like it's too late for that), or get a new CFI and new solo endorsements and fly it all again. Sorry dude. You should (if you have the money) sue the CFI and/or the school for gross negligence if performing their duties for the cost of ALL your solo hours that are now bogus, ALL the solo hours you will need to replace them, and throw in some damages while you're at it. If the school settles with you for the cost of your wasted solo time, you've made it out on top.
