Yes, both my 2 pairs of rear and front xt's are doing fine. Did 3 seasons of racing on both(dad and me raced) and training while being slow at 200lbs. Admittedly mine are older m756 era.
Sure ratchet hubs might be better, I haven't broken enough freehubs yet to care
Honestly I haven't measured my rim widths(internal) to know what's up. I have externally measured and run 2.2in tires on a 25mm(external) width rim, and it's fine.
Run 2.25 on 24mm externals.
Run 2.5's on 29mm external and 25mm internal
No, I can't be bothered to pull the tire on my rims to check and then reseat tubeless. I might ride softer, or slower then you so I can't tell. I do run higher pressures then most now. Usually 25+.
Don't like banging my rims on rocks.
