SO FAR in the 3 months ive lived here:
>chased by 2 homeless junkies
>screamed at by at least a dozen
>coal rolling cagie gassed me once
>junkie threw piss at me (missed) once
>3 attempted thefts of my bike
>police harassed me for blowing a red light when i was sat there for 5min waiting for it to turn
>did nothing about the drug fiend doing a stripper dance at the bus stop right next to where he pulled me over

I spoke to a cycling boomer (rim brake enjoyer) at toil, and he said this was normal for the area i live in and that he usually has to drive 20-30min to ride somewhere nice.

any tips for how to cycle in the ghetto? other than carrying a gun (not looking to add weight). I really CBA driving somewhere every time i want to ride. My indoor trainer has never seen so much use.
