Standard Oil did both, AT&T had both (the original intent was to spin off the telephone-making business, Western Electric; instead they spun off the "Bell System"), American Tobacco Co. (an early lawsuit target) had a high market share, Microsoft's integration with Windows Explorer nearly broke up the company, etc.
Boeing's market share is around 40% and is in no danger of the government going after them, nor will it create some magical renaissance of air travel.
