Hambinists might claim that there are two fundamental, mutually exclusive forms of bi bottoms or BBs: the press fit, which is fundamentally manifested as an axis of rotation location error; and the threaded (english/italian/french BB), which is closer to the traditional (some would say antiquated) notion of what a BB would look like.
