>>1976753>Check your fit first.its already as good as i think i can get it till ive got money for new bars and levers i think
my bike is a modern hybrid so the reach feels ok not long like a modern mtb or too short like an old mtb or more roady bike
>Can you lean ahead as much as you'd like to?not sure im more of a sit and spin type i only stand up when the ride is rough or for hard accelerations, im not rly shifting my weight around when im on the road so i cant say
>Are your arms comfortable?i think so i dont get any pain in them
cutting my bars down helped alot though i used to get alot of upper back and neck pain but this cured it
>Where's your weight when you pedal normally?on the flat i think its abooout evenly distributed between my hands and ass
my bars are a little higher than my seat and i keep my arms quite straight
>Could you ride with your fingers pre-extended if you wanted to?i can extend them out yeah but i normally ride with them in an mtb position (3 round the bar and 1 on the brake lever)
maybe i just need to relax?
im wondering if maybe i have mtb habits that are bad when not offroad?
desu im starting to think maybe im over reacting to something thats a non issue and im just riding wrong
>>1976758nothing wrong with good ol 26 on and off road
>>1976761yeah im learning this myself after being a hardcore bigger and nobbier is always better kind of person
im on my first road tyres rn and enjoying them
they seem to handle everything just fine except mud
never giving up my 26x2.35s tho sometimes i need to get muddy and ride some rough stuff for fun but for transport slicks are actually great
>>1976770too few people understand that wheel size effects gearing, im even thinking of doing a 24inch rear wheel on my 26er for le climbs lol
