Brainrot idea.
Build intercity high speed rail between major cities first (LA-LV, Albany-NYC, Portland-Seattle, St. Louis-KCS, Denver-Colorado Springs, etc) before doing stupid shit across the continent with no practical use for anyone.
The Amtrak 2035 map you shared is a good step in the right direction, but just building HSR wherever is insanely stupid, and there's a reason nobody is focusing on long distance HSR right now.
