Death penalty for bike thieves is a simple and reasonable policy. Of course it doesn't happen because thieves are valued accomplices of the state. "oh you wanted to own something? how stupid of you. no no no, you vill own nothing and be happy"

I want to buy a nice electric scooter to get me to and from places but it just isn't viable because using it to actually go and do things means leaving it unattended. You can either use the sanctioned scooter rental services or buy a scooter to use as a toy, just riding around for the sake of it.
