So after a winter hibernation since our close promotion miss in last years' Autumn Babby Cup /n/'s divegrass team is doing preflight checks and preparing for take-off in our 2024 4Chn Spring Babby Cup campaign beginning later today.

>What is this?
This is a regular COM vs. COM football tournament on PES with tactical, aesthetic and music team exports built, custom player models designed and live managed by users from every 4chan board that participates. The cup normally runs four times a year and has been going since 2011. Normally there are two 'babby cups' for the lower ranked teams and two 'elite cups' for the top ranked teams in a promotion and relegation system of the top and bottom 16 finishers. Spring 24 is the second tournament of this year's divegrass season with the top 16 promoting to Summer 24's 'elite' cup.

>What's it got to do with /n/?
/n/ are one of the most historic and longest running teams in the 4CC, elite cup champions in Winter 2021 and proud owners of three wooden spoons before that. /n/ narrowly missed out on promotion with a 79th minute goal in Autumn 23 against eventual champions, /sci/. The cup has just returned again to PES 16 after a five year absence and /n/ are in Group H with some interesting opponents; a Summer 22 semifinal rematch with /vp/ to open, a first ever meeting with /vmg/ and a rematch of our star-winning Winter 21 final against /his/ to close out the group stage.
