>>1999747I fly both the 800 ng and max and can tell you that I would pick an ng 9/10 times.
The max doesn’t have major issues but is annoying to fly, the engines take up to 3 minutes each to start, the fmc likes to stop working especially on the fo side at random or do dumb shit with vnav, the pressurization and air conditioning system is still garbage, the speed brake is either up or down no in between, doesn’t climb and doesn’t descend well, the auto throttle system is still shit and you better be precise with balancing the seat arrangement because it doesn’t tollerate a difference o 6 people between the forward and back rows.
The only redeeming features of that thing is how responsive and smooth the flight controls are and that it’s slightly faster in cruise.
It’s not a dangerous plane, not anymore at least, but it’s garbage if we wanna consider it an upgrade to the ng.
Inb4 the engineers always tell us that the fmc issues are known glitches but that they can’t do shit about it since it’s a problem with the software.
