How long of a locked bicycle not moving is basically the owner giving consent to start harvesting parts from it? Is 14 days reasonable to assume the owner isn't coming back and consents to harvesting?

at the 6 hour mark I just assume it's abandoned. I have never been to a bike shop because the world around me is full of idiots throwing away perfectly good stuff. I have over 20 donor bikes just in case. it's important to be picky and have some standards otherwise your house gets overrun with stuff.
