Lot's of hydroplanes, though (canadair, fire boss). Portugal did look into buying some be200, but they're too big, too fast for the needs. Us2 would probably be the best choice technically, as they could double as patrol/sar off-season (can operate with up to 3 meter waves), but that'd require an hefty investment and independent thought.
