Do you bike more for function (transportation/commuting), pleasure, or both? I have noticed that I almost never bike for pleasure. I only have a road bike so I don't do mountain trails, or take the road bike out to bike dozens of miles through towns just for fun. It's always just using the bike as a function to get me somewhere I need to go, like a subway station, or activity I'm doing, work, etc.

Feels a little weird that I'm a daily cyclist (I don't own a car) and have been for at least 6-7 years at this point, bike around 2,000 miles a year, but never do it for fun.
