I've lived in both apartments and SFH. Both have their merits. For me personally at this point in my life, apartment works. I also have the possibly unjustified belief that it will be a little bit easier to manage should I choose to change to SFH and rent this thing out, but that is probably because nobody in my family rents out SFH but some of us rent out an apartment purchased at an earlier stage in life. Renting out SFH just seems like an invitation to headaches. Yeah yeah yeah kill all landlords, seethe about it.
Anyway regarding your pic, I'm not crazy about the koyaanisqatsi style commieblock format as I think it's the worst of both worlds, either glass it up with top hung windows and make the building footprint take up every last inch of the plot, or keep it under 5 floors and do courtyard style with balconies.
Also what does this have to do with transportation? Nothing obviously but welcome to post-covid /n/.
