You want SKS longboard. They are the only fenders that will actually stop water from flying to from your front wheel. No other models go low enough. You can fix a mudflap on the shitty fenders if you must.
I put fenders on every bike and barely have to clean the chain, crank, or bottom bracket because it also blocks dirt and dust when things are dry.. Fenders are essential.
